A modified version of Pokemon Emerald on the Game Boy Advance, Pokemon Neon is a hack-rom. It is a fresh version of the game that includes over 60 more Pokemon. It includes a selection of Pokemon from the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum editions, as well as Black and White and a few more. The difficulty has been ramped up, and the visuals have been given an upgrade.
The player takes on the role of a young trainer originally from Johto, whose family has relocated to Lamentin, a tiny village in Martinique, so that his father, Norman, may fulfill his responsibilities as arena champion at Francois. Soon after that, he comes upon Professor Seko, who is in a precarious condition after being assaulted by a Zigzaton. In the future, he will find out that Team BLACK is a criminal organization that is involved in the stealing and selling of Pokemon. In order for him to become the master of Pokémon, he will have to defeat the leader of this squad, acquire all of the badges, and do it all!
