Anirapto, a powerful primal Pokémon, was one of these supernatural entities, ruling supreme over the realms of lightning and thunder and inspiring both dread and awe in the populace. The people of Caligo gave their whole allegiance to this god out of a desire for power and immortality.
THE RISE AND FALL OF ANIRAPTO’S DEVOTED SUBJECTS
The price they paid for their unholy devotion was high. They became haughty as they persistently tapped into Anirapto’s extraordinary powers and plotted to depose their god. Their rebellion set off a terrible chain of events because they underestimated the strength of the Primal Pokémon. Recognizing the betrayal of his once-obedient minions, Anirapto dared escape from the ancient temple.
ANIRAPTO’S VENGEFUL RAMPAGE AND CALIGO’S SURVIVORS
Anirapto, filled with rage and the need for retribution, went on a killing spree around the region. The few survivors rallied together heroically, their amazing powers barely enough to bring down the enraged beast. They put Anirapto to sleep for all time, but a prophecy haunted Caligo.
THE CHILLING PROPHECY AND THE HERO’S DESTINY
The prophecy predicted that Anirapto would rise again, ushering in a new era of doom and gloom for the area once more. It also contained a glimpse of hope by saying that a hero would emerge to battle the dreadful Pokémon and that only this chosen one could end the impending calamity and restore peace to Caligo.
