The 16-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog was hacked by Lone Devil to create Somari the Adventurer. Somari is a complete replacement for Sonic and has three of his own moves. The newly added Mushroom Kingdom Zone serves as the game’s opening zone and is a one-act level. This hack is based on an illegal port of Sonic the Hedgehog for the NES/Famicom by Hummer Team called “Somari”. Mario takes the role of the game’s main protagonist in this version of Sonic.
