This is a simple hack that, when applied, changes the “blood” hue from green to red. This is because red is a more realistic representation of blood. It is more in line with what the original creators had in mind, but because of the stringent censorship that was in place at the time, Namco was unable to provide its approval. This has been brought up in interviews with the devs.
This modification is not for you in any way, shape, or form if you prefer the traditional green slime.
This modification just pertains to the color editing, no other alterations have been done. The only change that has been made to the game is that the blood has been changed from black to red.
