Kaze Emanuar is responsible for the significant hack known as Super Mario 64: Last Impact. It was made available for download at 8:00AM Mountain Daylight Time on September 30th, 2016. There are 130 stars, 12 power-ups, a vast variety of entirely new levels, and a number of new bosses in this update. In Super Mario 64: Last Impact, Mario has only six health points instead of the usual eight, and there is a separate gauge for his oxygen supply while he is underwater. This hack adds several features that were not featured in either earlier hacks or the original game itself. These features include additional power-ups, customized music and objects, and different boss fights.
The game begins with two small meteors crashing on the ground and transforming into prickly piranha plants that attack Princess Peach. After Mario defeats the plants, Princess Peach cautions him about an impending peril involving the moon. From this point on, Mario travels to other planets to gather stars, and the more stars he acquires, the more worlds he may access. Eventually, he is able to vanquish Bowser.
Even though he is concerned about the moon, he continues to gather stars since his next aim is to enter the Shadow Factory. When he has collected enough stars, different colored goombas arrive to challenge him, but he is able to vanquish them all. Eventually, Rashay appears, revealing himself to be the problem on the moon, and kidnaps Princess Peach. He then escapes as the colored goombas appear again, much stronger than they were before, and Mario once again defeats them. He continues on his journey, collecting more stars until eventually, Rashay appears, revealing himself to be the problem on the moon, and kidnaps Princess Peach.
Mario now has the purpose of rescuing Princess Peach and stopping Rashay, so he proceeds on inside the Shadow Factory, confronts Shadow Mario, and then uses the key he receives to access the rocket ship, which he then takes to travel to the moon.
After Mario has collected eighty stars, he is granted access to Rashay’s Moon Cellar. There, with the assistance of the different colored goombas, he is able to defeat Rashay and save Princess Peach, and then they all have dinner outside of Peach’s Castle. Mario must collect many more stars. After Mario has collected eighty stars, he is granted access to Rashay’s Moon Cellar.
