After Mario prevailed over Bowser in the fight that brought an end to the activities depicted in Super Mario Star Road, peace was restored to the Mushroom Kingdom, and all of Bowser’s soldiers were expelled from the kingdom by utilizing the power of the stars. The Star Spirits came to an agreement that in order to show their appreciation to Mario for rescuing their realm, they would launch a Green Comet and have it soar over the Star Leap Tower. Since the comet has scattered green stars over all of the planets, Mario will need to go back and investigate the areas that are accessible via Star Road once again in order to complete a range of new challenges.
biobak is responsible for the modification known as Super Mario Star Road: The Green Comet. It was first made available to the public in January of 2021 and is modeled around Super Mario Star Road. Green Stars, similar to those seen in Super Mario Galaxy 2, are hidden in difficult spots inside previously established levels to replicate the gameplay of that game.
The cheat has a total of 150 stars, but the player will only be able to access 15 of them once all of the other stars have been obtained. They take the place of the golden stars on Star Road, are found in a variety of locales, and are often more difficult to get. The stages no longer contain enemies or bosses, and there are many more non-playable characters than there were in the original game. These non-playable characters (NPCs) provide the player with advice or add to the mythology of the game.
Doors in the game may now be opened without using stars or keys, which means that players can immediately access all of the game’s levels. When the first 135 stars have been obtained, green coins will begin to emerge in each major dish. This will grant access to the last 15 stars and the actual conclusion of the game. There is no life counter in the game since the player has an endless number of lives. Comet Medals will now be used in place of 1-UP mushrooms.
