With “Pokemon Red Rumor,” you may travel back to the 1990s and experience the classic Pokémon Red universe all over again. This one-of-a-kind gaming experience combines the classic adventure you remember with the fascinating but often false rumors that circulated about the Pokémon brand when it first debuted.

A REFRESHING TAKE ON AN OLD TALE

The plot of Pokémon Red hasn’t altered much since the original game, so fans of the series won’t be disappointed. You’ll still go out on your journey to become a Pokémon Master and prevent Team Rocket’s sinister schemes. As you progress through the game, however, you’ll notice that the ’90s rumor mill has imprinted on this classic adventure.

MYTHS THAT CAN’T BE FORGOTTEN

Fans of Pokémon in the 1990s were full of theories about hidden Pokegods, misunderstood Mist Stones, and a phantom Brick Town. Rediscovering these intriguing rumors in “Pokemon Red Rumor” is like taking a breath of fresh air into a vital element of the Pokémon community. Some rumors have been implemented, but unfortunately, the Elite Four and the Caterpie challenge have been left out.

DUAL RELEASES: TWICE THE FUN!

A hacked and an unhacked version of “Pokemon Red Rumor” is available to gamers. A unique GameShark item, unavailable in the non-cheat edition, is introduced in the cheat version as an homage to the era’s preoccupation with cheat codes. This item, which replaces the game’s default Potion, will return fond memories for anyone who used cheats in the 1990s.

UNRAVEL THE SECRETS

In addition to the two ISO images and the manual, gamers will receive two IPS files. This paperwork details the steps necessary to collect every legendary Pokegod and other bonuses and credits that can be enjoyed for their nostalgic value.
