Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts: Girl Sprite Hack PLUS

This hack is an addendum/continuation of the Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts – Girl sprite hack work by poody.

Like the sprite hack, with this patch, you play the game as the girl character (i.e. if you play the unpatched game, the magician will sometimes turn you into the girl). However, this patch builds upon the sprite hack with a few additions. Unlike the sprite hack in which collecting armor upgrades just changes the girl character’s dress colour, in this version, she will actually wear armour (after the upgrade). Thus, the game now has 3 different outfits instead of two outfits (which may also make further sprite hacking easier).

There are still some minor graphic glitches, but this patch is quite playable and fun. Once the offset and format for game text is available, the next version should have updated text that better fits the game’s new heroine.
