Age of Empires: Mythologies

Age of Empires: Mythologies is a strategy game based on the Age of Mythology. In the tradition of Advance Wars and the earlier Age of Empires: The Age of Kings, each player is given a turn during which their troops can perform single actions, such as going to an enemy unit and assaulting, capturing, or constructing structures. When two competitor players’ units battle one another, the top screen displays a short animation showing a group of each unit engaged in combat, along with the ensuing damage to their hit points. In basic games, players gather three resources: food, gold, and favor, which they use to develop structures and eventually train forces for war. Players advance “Ages” to earn more units, technologies, and structures, beginning with the “Archaic Age,” a feature notably included in the original Ensemble Studios Age of Empires game.
