In many respects, this is the best Burnout because it includes the series’ finest modes: crash mode, chase mode, road rage, and time attack. The visuals are adequate, although a touch gloomy in some sections, but you’re typically moving too quickly to stop and smell the roses. Some wreck replays are pleasing, but the Impact Time slow-motion crash scenes are a work in progress for the DS.
