DBZ: Goku Densetsu for the Nintendo DS is an all-new DBZ experience. It combines role-playing aspects with strategic card-based action to create a game that is simple to learn yet challenging to master. The efficiency with which the players use the cards to develop their characters, enhance their moves, and come up with new moves determines how far they advance. A total of 512 potential combinations will be used to decide a player’s progression through the game. Cards in the game are marked with eight different sorts of actions, eight power levels, and eight guard levels. Each player receives five cards, chosen at random, to use in the game, each representing one of eight different sorts of actions. As the game advances, the degree of difficulty of special attacks will rise, and players can combine the effects of many cards to strengthen their strikes and improve their guard levels to perform super combos. Players may still advance even if they don’t pick the most fabulous cards. Still, those who play strategically will have a better chance of becoming real masters and unlocking additional surprises. DBZ: Goku Densetsu features a game-sharing option and wireless fighting for up to four players and can enable wireless battles.
