The game has 30 leagues, over 500, and 41 national teams. The Russian Premier League, absent from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions, has been included in FIFA 10. In contrast to previous FIFA editions, the Netherlands is included as a fully licensed national team. Forty-six teams were not featured in FIFA 09 due to promotion/relegation and other league expansions, including 25 that have never appeared in a FIFA game before. FIFA 10’s international division has 41 teams. The most conspicuous omission is Japan, which advanced to the round of 16 in both the 2002 and 2010 World Cups but now holds Konami’s license rights. The foreign teams listed below are playable on current-generation platforms. However, not all teams, like South Africa and Russia, are licensed.
