Giana Sisters DS

Giana Sisters DS is a contemporary 2009 recreation of the 1987 classic game The Great Giana Sisters. The original game was released on the C64 and Amiga, but it was taken from stores because Nintendo threatened to sue over similarities to Super Mario titles. Surprisingly, the sisters emerged on the Nintendo DS more than 20 years later. Giana Sisters DS is a well-known platformer. Giana is trapped in a dream realm and must now discover her missing gems and a route to the mystery castle. The game has over 80 additional levels (it is not a one-to-one recreation). New, unique goods also take advantage of the DS’s advantages. For example, Giana can gather a bubble gum item that can be triggered via the touch screen. Giana can fly thanks to the bubble she controls by blowing into the microphone. Another new addition is a globe map that allows the user to pick and repeat stages.
