A tremendous partnership between the famed Japanese Jump magazine and Nintendo of Japan resulted in more than 150 characters from 27 different anime and manga series dueling in this Nintendo DS game. Goku from DragonBall Z, Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto, Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, and many more are among the notable cast members. And how could it not be? The title optimizes gameplay using the DS system’s dual-screen and touch-panel capabilities. Manga scenes are displayed on the touch panel while the action on the higher screen occurs. Jump! Super Stars has a J-spirit gauge that allows you to perform special techniques. When the meter is complete, your attack strength is considerably augmented, enabling you to execute devastating combination attacks. Up to six combatants can appear on the screen at the same time with the assistance and support of characters. W-LAN allows for the use of up to four characters.
