Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Great Adventure of the Seven Islands! is the 2nd Taiko no Tatsujin game released on Nintendo DS. It was released on April 24, 2008. It borrows game mechanics from the first Taiko no Tatsujin DS game. For the first time ever in Taiko no Tatsujin series, it includes a story mode. Since then All Taiko games on handles and consoles includes story mode. It contains 50 songs, 10 of which are Namco Original songs.
