Monster Tale is a platformer and virtual pet game released for the Nintendo DS in 2011. It was developed by DreamRift and published by Majesco. It was only made available in the North American market. It tells the narrative of a little girl named Ellie and her exploits in Monster World with her monster friend Chomp. Together, they are tasked with ending the mischievous Kid-Kings, reclaiming Monster World for its original inhabitants—the monsters, and discovering a means for Ellie to get back to her world.
