Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Along with the Wii and PSP versions, the Nintendo DS edition of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands has a distinct platform-specific gameplay style and a completely separate plot from the basic game. The story of the DS version takes place after the events of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and describes how a cult kidnaps our prince and uses his royal blood and the power of the sand to free a long-imprisoned evil in a temple somewhere in India. The prince lost his memory, and Queen Razia lost her abilities during the sacrifice and resurrection procedure. The two of them quickly form a team, with the prince having no reason to question her assertions, even if he has no recollection of anything, and set out to hunt down cult members and murder the revived master of the cult. The game is a side-scrolling platformer with 3D visuals and a fixed camera that can only be played with a stylus.
