In Nintendo’s history, we have seen many different series and universes. One of the longest existing, and most varied universes, is Super Mario with diverse gameplay, humorous storylines, and in-depth character building. We already have many games that use Mario as the protagonist, and Mario is always saving Princess Peach from Bowser. However, the game I will introduce today is not about Mario, but Princess Peach. With the name Super Princess Peach, the game has created new impressions and even surprises for fans around the world.
The gameplay of Super Princess Peach is similar to the original games, it using 2D platforms and classic controls. The game’s graphics are improved to a new level, along with the use of vibrant, beautiful colors, revealing the beauty of a princess and the world around her. In this game, the universe will be reversed, and this time the princess will personally rescue the Mario and Luigi brothers. Along the way will appear numerous challenges such as rugged terrain, minions of Bowser, and even attractive mini-games for players to entertain.
Compared to platform games with the universe, this time, the gameplay will be improved, and have many new features for players. The player’s journey will span through eight worlds, each world will have six levels, and each level will have three hidden Toad. At the end of each world is a boss fight, where mini-games are used to fight bosses, and players must use the Nintendo DS touchscreen. Only when the player collects all the hidden Toad, the final boss battle will be unlocked. After defeating the final boss, players can still return to previous worlds to collect unlockable items to unlock new levels. Each world will have a maximum of three new levels after the player unlocks, which means the game will have 24 bonus levels for players.
Compared to Mario and Luigi, Peach has more special skills thanks to her emotions. During the game, players can activate four different types of emotions to fight or overcome challenges. The variety of emotions will change the gameplay, thereby creating a new experience for fans of Super Mario.
