A mythical race of extraterrestrial robots known as the Transformers inspired the creation of the computer game Transformers Autobots. The storyline of the live-action blockbuster Transformers from 2007 has been adapted for this version. The Autobots game takes place in the Arctic, but the Decepticons game is set in the desert and a Qatar military camp. This is the most notable difference between the two games.
