Three years had passed since the last time MEGATRON and the DECEPTICONS posed a danger to the globe. The leaders of Earth are under the impression that Megatron has departed the planet in defeat, but Optimus Prime is aware that this is not the case. An extraterrestrial message is intercepted, which reveals MEGATRON’S plot to instill terror and anarchy among humanity and release SHOCKWAVE, the ultimate assassin for the DECEPTICONS! The AUTOBOTS have the responsibility of tracking down MEGATRON, stopping SHOCKWAVE, and protecting their new home from the DECEPTICONS before it is destroyed.
