Xenosaga I & II

The narratives of the first and second PlayStation 2 episodes are combined in Xenosaga I + II. The fight mechanism is similar to that of Episode I, except that your AP meter may now reach a maximum of 6 levels. New characters and abilities have been added. Instead of the PS2 versions’ combo attacks, you may now conduct personal formations, in which the configuration of your combat group impacts your surroundings. As well as cut sequences, the game includes animated movies and voices. Stylus support has been enabled to play dungeon mini-games. Yuichiro Takeda, who previously worked on the Xenosaga anime, wrote the scripts for Xenosaga I and II. Hiroshi Takeuchi created character designs that differ from the two PS2 titles. Kousuke Yamashita, of Nobunaga’s Ambition fame, created the soundtrack.
