Acclaim Entertainment created and distributed the All-Star Baseball baseball video game series. The series began with the publication of All-Star Baseball ’97 in 1997. Frank Thomas, the successor to Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball, is featured. Play-by-play announcers for the New York Yankees, The game’s announcers from 1998 to 2000 were John Sterling and Michael Kay. All-Star Baseball 2005 is the series’ final release (due to Acclaim’s bankruptcy). Numerous types of play are available inside the individual games, including exhibitions, managing an existing Major League Baseball team, and forming a team. In addition to Mexico City and Puerto Rico, many North American cities are eligible for “expansion.” The majority of the games have Derek Jeter on the cover.
