Big Mutha Truckers, also known in Japan as Bakus Convoy Densetsu, is a 2002 racing video game created by the British firm Eutechnyx. The game, set in the fictional Hick County, concentrates on completing trips between cities, delivering commodities, and engaging in races while driving an eighteen-wheeler. The game was released on the Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, Xbox, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, and PC. Still, it received only middling critical and financial success due to repetitive gameplay, antiquated graphics, and poor sound. The theme tune for the game is “Born to Be Wild” by Steppenwolf. Big Mutha Truckers 2 is the sequel. The plot of the game centers around one of four individuals and their quest to inherit the family business. Ma’ Jackson challenges her four children, Cletus, Earl, Rawkus, and Bobbie-Sue, to a “Trial by Truckin” as she prepares to retire from the family company. She provides each sibling 60 days to make deliveries to various communities around Hick State County, with the firm ultimately going to the sibling with the most significant money.
