Dakar 2: The World’s Ultimate Rally

The video game Dakar 2: The World’s Ultimate Rally was released in 2003 for the Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. It was also known simply as Dakar 2. The follow-up to the Paris-Dakar Rally was released for the PlayStation 2 console. It is modeled by the actual Paris-Dakar Rally, which is recognized as one of the world’s most challenging and hazardous athletic competitions. The game starts in the countryside of Paris and concludes on a beach in Dakar, Senegal. There are 11 stages in between, some in the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains.
