A third-person shooter video game, Dragon Drive: D-Masters Shot, was published by Treasure Co. Ltd. in 2003. The Dragon Drive series inspired this video game, which is exclusively available in Japan. Gameplay[edit] Most of the action in Dragon Drive took place in enormous, open-air arenas, and players had to fight against multiple waves of opponents to progress through the game. Because of its multi-directional sprint and lock-on capabilities, several people have made analogies between this game and the Zone of the Enders series. The game also includes a few rail shooter levels, which are frequently compared to the Panzer Dragoon series published by Sega. However, these rail shooter levels make up only a minor fraction of the game.
