Vara Noir is a magic school founded by the emerging Simba Empire to protect against demonic invasion. After a devastating war, the Empire uses the school to teach students fighting and magic to prepare for future threats. 13-year-old Myu sweeps smokestacks and other debris-filled orifices. Her grandpappy gives her a giant sword and a few ducats and tells her to apply to Vara Noir for magical training. I pass the entrance exam. She joins Vara Noir Academy and goes on an adventure to save the realm. Idea Factory’s latest Kingdom of Chaos game features dungeon exploration, character interaction, and a Megami-Tensei-style item synthesis system that bonds extraordinary items in dungeons with weapons to boost attack strength and infuse qualities. Point-and-click interactions repeat questions and answers. Gakuen Toshi Vara Noir, originally released on the PS2, joins the Gamecube collection with new animations and graphics.
