Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2

2002 brought Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. It was the first Need for Speed game developed by EA Black Box for sixth-generation consoles. It’s the sixth Need for Speed game and the sequel to 1998’s Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit. The next Need for Speed game would focus on tuner culture, so this is the last game in the series set in the original era. At the 2002 6th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, “Console Racing Game of the Year” was awarded. Hot Pursuit 2, like Porsche Unleashed, was not released in Japan.
