Odama, developed by Vivarium and released by Nintendo for GameCube in 2006, means “Great Ball” in English. Seaman was designed and produced by Yutaka Saito. Odama is a Sengoku-era strategic wargame with pinball elements. Yamanouchi Kagetora, a young general, is the protagonist. He wants to revive the Odama, the most inventive medieval weapon, to avenge his father’s death. The massive Odama ball can inflict irreparable damage on anything it hits. Players can use giant flippers to aim the Odama, smash enemies, shatter their defenses, and wreck the battlefield. The Nintendo GameCube Microphone helps players lead warriors into battle and away from the Odama. Attacking, defending, and taking gates can achieve this.
