In 2003, sixth-generation home consoles got RoboCop, a third-person shooter. The Xbox was the only North American version, but all consoles, including Game Boy Advance, had PAL versions. Japan-only GameCube version. Titus Software’s last game before bankruptcy in 2005. RoboCop investigates a mysterious plot involving OCP, local gangsters trafficking a deadly new synthetic narcotic, and a powerful cyborg known only as MIND. As a last resort, RoboCop captures, kills, or arrests unfriendly characters to find information and evidence. Critics panned the game. It received 2.2/10 from GameSpot, 5.9/10 from Xbox Magazine UK, 2/5 from GamerFeed, 2/10 from Xbox Magazine, and 3/10 from NTSC UK. The Scandinavian journal Gamereactor called it “the worst videogame since Superman 64” (also from Titus Software) and gave it a 1/10 rating.
