An unidentified creature swoops down and attacks a helicopter while it is flying over Foret Town. The only person to escape the ordeal unscathed is an amnestic who was locked in a metal crate. As a result of being assaulted by monsters on the outskirts of the town, he learns that he is capable of transforming into a formidable werewolf. He keeps moving forward in his quest to determine who he is and why he was sent to Forest Town.
When controlling Luke, the player does not have as much offensive power. But he possesses the ability to turn into a werewolf, which, in addition to gaining incredible strength, is also capable of making impressively long leaps. Luke will obtain DNA data from monsters that he can use to improve his beast attacks and make more powerful combinations if he fights creatures. It is possible to uncover other beast forms, each of which possesses its own unique set of abilities to conquer challenges that were previously insurmountable.
