Anubis II

An evil ghost known as Mumm’hotep was responsible for plunging the land of Egypt into an endless nighttime gloom a very long time ago. A malicious curse was cast upon the once-peaceful society and spread across it. Anubis, the Warrior of the Sand, was the only one the Gods could trust to deal with this danger. They had no choice. With the scepter of Ra and the Kanopic bombs of anger in his arsenal, the player takes control of Anubis as he embarks on his mission to save Egypt once and for all. In this game, the player will have to engage in combat against hordes of sinister foes across a total of nine different levels of playable content. Anubis is controlled by the player from a third-person perspective as they progress through stages filled with platform puzzles and adversaries that can be defeated by the player swinging his staff at them or locking on to them and shooting energy balls. Anubis must locate eight pyramids in each level to activate the portal and complete the level. Despite what the name suggests, this is not a continuation of a previous game.
