Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia

Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia is set in Sol Ciel, which consists of two floating islands linked by the Tower of Ar tonelico. Long ago, people built a great civilization under the guidance of the goddesses, the Trio of Elemia, but things changed over time; two disasters led to the world’s destruction. The first disaster destroyed most of the lands and skies; the second beat the super civilization; and now, in the third era, another tragedy is brewing. Viruses born in the Altar of Apostles have begun to appear, and while they usually are not in physical form, they have now taken on the state of monsters and have the potential to destroy the world. The Knights of Elemia live in the Tower’s upper levelsTowerre they control virus outbreaks to keep the towerTower. Lyner Barsett, the story’s main character, is one such knight who must embark on a quest to find the Hymn Crystal, which can save the Tower of Ar tonelico and the entire world.
