Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm

Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm is an old-school Japanese RPG with a classic turn-based battle system and 2D anime characters. Alchemy is the main feature in Atelier Iris 3, as it has been in previous games in the series. Players can collect various ingredients throughout their quest and use their alchemy skills to create items. In Atelier Iris 3, players will control three protagonists: •Edge Vanhite, a 19-year-old raider, and alchemist tasked with exploring the Alterworlds. •Iris Fortner, a 16-year-old childhood friend of Edge’s who is still a novice raider. •Nell Ellis – a 15-year-old girl from a noble family who is an energetic young novice raider. The graphics in the game are a mix of 2D images/objects and 3D backgrounds, with Gust’s typical 2D anime characters. The game also has several anime cut-scenes, including an introduction video. Ken Nakagawa, known from previous Atelier games, created the game’s music and sound. The battle system is similar to the last Atelier games, with (slightly) improved traditional turn-based combat. Some updates to this third Iris game: An utterly new alchemy level system. Players can practice alchemy to enhance their skills and create new items. The Active Cost Card Battle System displays your exact battle order and adds more strategy to fights. Players can now see their enemies on the map using the new Enemy Symbol Encounter System, which aids planning. Players can also accept guild missions and improve their ratings by doing so.
