The dance competition game known as B-Boy is centered on the hip-hop subculture of b-boying (AKA break-dancing). The game has taken great care to accurately portray the culture, as evidenced by the inclusion of genuine b-boys such as Crazy Legs and Mouse, the winner of the most recent UK Break-dancing Championship. The music consists of a variety of traditional b-boy themes, such as “The Mexican” by Babe Ruth.
The gameplay is a hybrid between the mechanics of traditional fighting games and those of music rhythm games. The player executes a variety of various combinations in order to score points and triumph over rivals (human and CPU). Because of the widespread appeal of B-Boying around the world, the competition takes place in a variety of cities around the world, ranging from New York to Japan to Europe. In total, there are 21 locations to choose from. You will need to assemble a team in order to take on superstars if you choose to play the B-Boy Life option. You also have the option of making your own character and deciding on their moves.
