BLOOD+ One Night Kiss is an action-adventure video game for the PlayStation 2 console developed by Grasshopper Manufacture. It was only released in Japan, where it debuted on August 30, 2006. One Night Kiss was one of the first games Grasshopper worked on after becoming famous for his work on Killer7, which shares an art style. The game takes place after the seventh episode of the anime series BLOOD+. It was written and directed by SUDA51, who approached the game with the same punk philosophies he would an original work. Set in the fictional town of Shikishi, most of the game is played from Saya Otonashi’s point of view, with brief appearances by Kou Aoyama, an original character created for One Night Kiss. Saya and the other characters fight the Chiropterans, which look like bats. The Moon appears in the opening cutscene and during loading screens, fitting with the series’ vampiric inspirations and the game’s artistic similarities to Killer7.
