Hector is a former servant of Dracula and a Devil Forgemaster. In Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, you play the role of Hector, who renounces his dark powers and strives to live a regular life. As a result of this occurrence, Dracula became susceptible to the assaults of the Belmont clan. Since Dracula is no longer a threat, it is up to you to reverse the curse that was placed on all of Europe. There is just one catch, and that is the fact that another of Dracula’s servants is opposed to your scheme.
The player now has the power to create familiars to battle by their side if they are Devil Forgemaster. These familiars can be forged. They have stages just like the player, and they can even mutate into a different stage depending on the weapon you use to combat with them.
The game includes certain fundamental components of role-playing games, such as experience and character traits. You now have access to a wide variety of weapons, in contrast to Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, including but not limited to axes, swords, spears, knuckles, and even shields. You can also make your own weapons by beginning with an existing weapon as a foundation and supplementing it with additional elements like bronze, steel, and aluminum. Alternatively, you can simply have an abundance of these resources on hand.
You can lock on to an opponent and hit them with a series of combos because of the way the battle system works. You have some degree of influence over your Innocent Devil, and you are able to tell it to perform specific abilities, guard you, and participate in the battle.
