Champions: Return to Arms is an action role-playing game (RPG) that is the sequel to Champions of Norrath and takes place in the same universe as EverQuest. The malicious Innoruuk was obliterated, and his fragments (remains) were dispersed across the Planes of Power. The player must search for the shards and then make a decision between doing good or doing evil with them: Either destroy them to get rid of Innoruuk or collect them to bring him back to life.
The game offers seven different playable races, two of which are new compared to the original, as well as additional online capabilities. Importing characters from the previous game is an option for players. It supports up to four players simultaneously, but can also be played solo (online or with multitap).
