The game was distributed with three distinct box art designs, one for each area. Adam Gilchrist was featured on the cover of the New Zealand edition. In contrast, Daniel Vettori was featured on the surface of the Australian edition, and Andrew Flintoff was featured on the body of the English edition. It was the final game in which all players used their real names.
