In addition to features from the previous game, PS2 players will be able to compete in exciting head-to-head DDR online competitions for the first time. The top 100 scorers will be recognized through an interactive ranking system, allowing novice players to compete against top-tier DDR experts. Players can also go online to access new challenge missions that will be refreshed regularly, allowing them to expand their DDR gaming experience constantly. Whether players want to dance to the hottest tracks in town, choreograph, edit, and create their dance steps, or use the ‘Work Out’ mode to burn off excess pounds, DDR Extreme 2 will provide an interactive and fun way for players of all ages to get up and groove. The game’s continued support for the EyeToy Camera adds depth and dimension to the gameplay. Players can access fast-paced mini-games and use their hands and feet while dancing and watching themselves on TV by using the camera. More than 100 minutes of energetic dance music, including exclusively-licensed dance hits and smash-hit songs like “Genie In A Bottle” and “Oops!…I Did It Again,” keep players on the dance floor. New music by famous video game musician Yuzo Koshiro, whose credits include composing music for hit games such as the Streets of Rage series, Revenge of Shinobi, and Shenmue, joins the impressive line-up of songs.
