David Douillet Judo is the world’s first 3D judo sports simulation, created in collaboration with Olympic gold medalist David Douillet and licensed by the Fédération Française de Judo. With a focus on realism, the game requires the player to first go through a tutorial led by David, explaining the various moves (52 in total). It is impossible to perform all these moves simultaneously while fighting. The gameplay comprises fast-paced sequential sequences with three different activities suggested. The player must choose and execute a movement using a combination of keys or buttons. It is then carried out based on the situation and the timing. Aside from the tutorial, there are three game modes: Quick Play, Championship, and Career. There are five dojos to compete with, including a traditional, regional, national, and international setting and a temple. Nine judokas are available, with David Douillet being the only true sportsman and the character bearing his likeness.
