Def Jam Vendetta

This release from Electronic Arts explores the unlikely pairing of Def Jam recording artists and underground wrestling. It features the 3D likenesses of several Def Jam recording artists as playable characters, including Ludacris, Redman, D.M.X., Scarface, Ghostface Killa, and Method Man. A.K.I developed Def Jam Vendetta. Corporation, whose previous work in the genre includes the titles W.W.F. No Mercy and WCW/NWO Revenge. The game features an estimated 1,500 animations for each of the 45 playable characters. One featured mode features a storyline with soap opera-style drama accompanying the suplexes and body slams. There are ten different arenas that players can choose from to compete in. Single, Tag-Team, Handicap, or Battle Royale matches can have up to four players competing against one another. E.A. combines the skillful game design of Aki with the raucous characters from Def Jam Records, known for its hip-hop music. The result of these efforts is Def Jam Vendetta, a peculiar amalgamation that might have what it takes to appeal to die-hard gamers and more casual players. There are 12 Def Jam artists featured in the game, including Redman, Method Man, Ludacris, D.M.X., and N.O.R.E. You will be able to unlock all 45 playable characters, in addition to additional settings, girls, and concept art as you progress through the game.
