The original Dragon Quest game was remade into Dragon Quest V: Tenk’ no Hanayome. Both games share the same name. It is an extensive graphics overhaul that also includes new gameplay features, and it keeps the plot and the core gameplay elements of the previous edition while adding those elements.
The remade version features completely 3D graphics and a camera that can be rotated. The player is given the ability to physically interact with a large number of the objects found throughout the world. For instance, if the player lifts and breaks a pot in order to uncover a hidden item, this action is graphically depicted rather than being communicated by a text message. In contrast to the synthesized recordings that were present in the earlier release, the music has been re-recorded with a real orchestra this time around.
The player can now have a total of four active party members that they can control, up from the previous limit of three. Additionally, the number of monsters that can become members of the party has been expanded. In addition to the minigames that were already there in the first iteration, some new ones have been included. A trinkets museum has been included, and it will award the player with incentives if they are successful in gathering regional delicacies from a variety of locations.
When the player has completed all of the game’s challenges, he or she will unlock a new dungeon that contains more difficult foes. This package comes with a demo CD for Dragon Quest VIII.
