Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires

The forces of the kingdom are under your command in Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires. The ultimate objective of the game is for the player to construct an empire by subjugating all 25 regions of Ancient China through a combination of shrewd diplomacy and unyielding military might. Before each fight, the player will confer with the war council to choose the political and military strategies that the kingdom will implement, and then it will be time to engage in combat. The game grants players the ability to rule their kingdom from the comfort of their recliner. Players now have the ability to give specific orders to each officer or send out general commands to all officers currently on the field. The players will decide when the army will go on the attack, defend their position, or ambush their opponents by gathering all of the commanders together. In addition, players have the ability to select the officers who will serve on an assault force, persuade captives to join the kingdom’s service, and even kick officers out of the kingdom. With the game’s 25 additional policies, bringing the total number of policies available to a total of 75, players have even more control over the Government, Product Development, Diplomacy, and Battle Tactics. The action-packed video game features four different scenarios that may be unlocked, two-player co-op play in both the “Empire” and “Free” game modes, additional items that can be unlocked, and control of more than two hundred officers. After everything has settled down, there is the authentic history of Ancient China to uncover within the game’s in-depth Encyclopedia.
