Electronic Arts Canada is responsible for developing the football video game FIFA Football 2004, also known as FIFA Soccer 2004, in North America. Electronic Arts published the game. It was first made available to the public in October 2003 under the slogan “Create Brilliance.” The eleventh installment in the FIFA series, FIFA Football 2004, is also the eighth game to be shown in 3D. The most significant additions in FIFA Football 2003 were the subsidiary divisions, enabling the player to lead lower-ranked teams to promotion efforts. However, the engine employed in FIFA Football 2003 did not change significantly. The gameplay now includes a new feature known as “Off the ball,” which enables more excellent tactical play by allowing the player to manage both other players simultaneously. Another critical component of the game is Football Fusion. It will allow users with FIFA 2004 and Total Club Manager 2004 to play games from the management simulation in FIFA. The title sequence was shot at St. James’ Park, where Newcastle United plays home games. The opening song is “Red Morning Light,” a European smash for Kings of Leon. Alessandro Del Piero of Juventus, Thierry Henry of Arsenal, and Ronaldinho dressed in a Brazil jersey appear on the magazine cover.
