Another installment in Agetec Inc.’s Designer Series, Fighter Maker 2 (FM2), was available on the PlayStation 2 (PS2) platform. It was made available to the public in November 2002. It is comparable to the first version, but significant improvements have been made to the character designs, the mobility, and the attacks. As with the first installment, reviews of the game were mostly unfavorable. This was primarily attributable to the game’s complex interface and the absence of bells and whistles, which were standard components of most fighting games available at the time.
