Fighting Angels is a 3D brawler with no overarching narrative and a cast comprised entirely of women. The game is a one-on-one fighting game with some wrestling elements: players are free to move in any direction around the arena, the ropes surrounding the hall can be used as part of the fighting, and there is ground-based grappling similar to wrestling. Each character possesses four attacks, consisting of weak and strong punches and kicks, each of which can be performed in three different ways. In addition to regular attacks, there are also “Sexy Attacks.” These attacks are significantly flashier than average but weaker overall, adding to the character’s “Sexy Gauge.” There is also something called a “Plain Attack,” a more standard attack that depletes the Sexy Gauge. Suppose a character’s Sexy Gauge is complete. In that case, they can use a super-powerful Sexy Combo Attack, which is typically strong enough to deplete their opponent’s health. You can also defend yourself by blocking attacks and performing a basic grab move, and you can pick up items from around the arena to use as weapons. The gameplay can be toggled between a variety of different modes. The tournament mode is the primary focus of the game’s single-player content. In this mode, the player selects a character and competes against increasingly tricky computer opponents. There is also a mode called standard versus, which can be played by one or two players, a method called survival, and a method called practice. A view mode is also typical for Tamsoft’s Simple 2000 sports games. In this mode, the player can dress any characters in any unlocked outfit and watch their animations from any angle they choose.
