In addition to boasting an improved version of the physics engine found in the first game and driving track designs that are even more rapid, FlatOut 2 also includes a number of other updates, enhancements, and additions that combine to give the game the definitive FlatOut experience. Some of the extensive features that are included in FlatOut 2 are double the number of vehicles, a more complex career mode, additional race environments, double the number of tracks, double the number of mini-games, along with brand new and highly requested online multiplayer modes. These are just some of the features that are included in the game. The level of physical interaction in a racing game has been extended to new heights, with more than 5,000 fully destructible objects on every track and 40 deformable elements on each vehicle. This brings the total number of totally destructible things to over 100,000. The gameplay is going to be much more frenetic than it now is since there will be a higher emphasis placed on inflicting havoc on the track in exchange for greater prizes. In order to be the first driver across the finish line, racers will have to wreak havoc on the vehicles of their rivals, destroy the surrounding environment, and strew hazards all over the course while simultaneously attempting to maintain their focus on their own performance. The ever-popular Ragdoll mini-games from the first FlatOut game have made a welcome comeback, and they are better than ever with a total of 12 Ragdoll events, a Ragdoll Championship, and complete support for online play. Basketball, baseball, and royal flush card competitions are among the new Ragdoll events.
