Forbidden Siren 2, much like its predecessor, is broken up into several different situations, which are listed in order of their occurrence in a table known as the “Link Navigator.” The player must perform a primary mission objective to finish a scenario. This aim typically entails reaching an exit point, defeating specific foes known as “Shibito” and “Yamibito,” or locating an item. The objectives of the many scenarios are tied to one another by a butterfly effect, and the actions of a character in one system have the potential to set off a secondary objective in another system.
