Godzilla, a massive creature from beneath the sea, has been Earth’s bane and savior. Scientists have begun experimenting on Godzilla’s DNA to create artificial G-Cells of the monster’s power. A group of aliens known as the Vortek invaded Earth to steal G-Cells starting with Godzilla’s DNA. They accomplish this by commanding several other massive monsters to fight amongst themselves. Only a beast with free will could destroy Vortek’s army and drive the Vortek away. Godzilla: Save the Earth is a three-dimensional fighting game that serves as a prequel to Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. Players select one of 18 previously seen Godzilla films to engage in battle and destruction. Godzilla (the 1990s and 2000s versions), Mecha-Godzilla (versions 2 and 3), Spacegodzilla, Anguirus, Destoroyah, Gigan, Moguera, Jet Jaguar, Baragon, Rodan, Megalon, Megaguirus, Mothra (in larval and adult forms), Orga, King Ghidorah, and Mecha-King Ghidorah are all on the list. Every monster has a unique set of punches, kicks, grabs, throws, blocks, and ranged attacks.
Furthermore, each monster has a unique set of moves activated by button combinations. Many monsters can fly. Power-Ups can be found that restore health, restore energy, activate Rage mode, and target the enemy for Air Strikes.
