In the follow-up and sequel game to “Guitar Hero,” players can shred on Rhythm, Lead, and Bass Guitar tracks. Create your own guitar combo and shred riffs together or compete against each other in brand-new multiplayer game types. You’ll go from being a Guitar Hero to a guitar god in the blink of an eye thanks to the game’s over 55 rocking songs that you can play along to. Pick from a variety of rock characters and perform at concert halls that increase in size as your career advances in the rock music industry. You will begin your career as a rock musician by performing in local pubs and clubs; however, if you are talented enough, you will eventually advance to larger venues such as stadiums and arenas. The guitar rock experience is taken to new levels in Guitar Hero II by giving players the ability to play three distinct guitar tracks, including Rhythm, Bass, and Lead. New multiplayer game modes, such as cooperative, pro-face-off, and face-off, are included in Guitar Hero II. These game types allow two players to play as Guitar Heroes and create their own unique symphonies of destruction. A brand new practice mode is included in Shred School: Guitar Hero II. This mode enables Guitar Zeroes to work their way up to Guitar Heroes with enough dedicated practice.
